The AI-driven sales enablement and automation platform Sharpsell.ai raised Rs 30 crore in its most recent Series A funding round, which included a Rs 10 crore investment from Equentis Angel Fund. This was the company’s highest Cat-I AIF investment to date. The startup’s SaaS-based platform, which is driven by AI, provides contextual coaching tools, dynamic, tailored content, and ready-to-use sales pitches. By empowering field sales teams and assisting them in enhancing their performance through the digitisation and scaling of successful behaviours, its platform is intended to facilitate high-velocity sales. Sharpsell.ai stated that it will use the most recent capital to further its global aspirations, expand sectoral penetration within current verticals, and improve product capabilities. Additionally, the business intends to enter foreign markets, mainly in Southeast Asia and the Middle East and North Africa region.
“We are focused on building a category-defining platform for sales enablement, one that delivers measurable outcomes at scale. Our Series A partners’ investment will enable us to improve delivery, broaden our product pipeline, enter new markets, and start our global expansion. We are thrilled to have a reputable investor support the Equentis Angel Fund.” stated Hanuman Kamma, co-founder and CEO of Sharpsell.ai.
“The size and potential of the opportunity at hand are reflected in our Rs 10 crore investment in Sharpsell.ai, which is the largest that any Cat-I AIF can infuse in a single company. The sales playbook automation market is still completely unexplored in India, despite the fact that global spending on sales enablement solutions is just shy of $12 billion. In light of this, Sharpsell’s AI-powered platform is clearly increasing productivity and revenue. We anticipate Sharpsell expanding quickly throughout India and other international markets thanks to its solid SaaS foundations and profitability. ” stated Manish Goel, Founder & Managing Director, Equentis Wealth Advisory Services.
Notable SaaS investors Cornerstone Venture Partners and Mistry Ventures, among others, provided funding in 2022 and 2023 prior to this round.
