Bengaluru-based Mitigata has raised $5.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Titan Capital and WEH Ventures. The proceeds will be used to enhance its AI-driven platform, expand its cyber resilience services, and scale operations across Indian cities and global markets. The firm operates a full-stack cyber resilience platform, integrating cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and cyber insurance into a unified AI-powered solution.
Mitigata plans to establish three global security operations centers in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi and grow its security, insurance, and compliance teams. It serves over 500 enterprises across 25 sectors and is also India’s first IRDAI-regulated insurance broker focused solely on cyber insurance. Nexus Venture Partners is looking to raise $700 million for its eighth fund, according to a Moneycontrol report. The amount is the same as what the venture firm raised for its previous fund, which closed in March 2023.
